Winnie is all about parents helping parents. We want the information parents find on Winnie to be useful, safe, and productive.
To that end, we require all members to agree to a set of Rules that they must follow when posting content on Winnie. Trained moderators then monitor all content posted to ensure it follows those rules. Users who don't follow the rules will be banned from using Winnie and offending content may be removed.
If you see content on Winnie that does not follow the rules, please report it. Our moderators will act quickly to review your report and you will receive a notification once they have taken action on the reported content.
Who are the moderators on Winnie?
Moderation is a very important job, and all of our moderators work for Winnie. These individuals are trained in the rules, their work is routinely reviewed, and they are paid for what they do.
There are no unpaid or volunteer moderators on Winnie.
Can moderators tell who wrote anonymous posts or comments?
No. Moderators can never know the identity of someone who has posted anonymously, though they will still take action on the post if it violates the rules.
Something I wrote was removed! What gives?
Posts and comments may be hidden or removed when a moderator determines they violate the Rules. We encourage all members to review the Rules frequently. They serve an important purpose in keeping our community useful, safe, and productive.
